Out of the cake box

Thanks Cynthia for buying the most delicious macaron. The macaron from out of the cake box was really really good. Not so sweet and the texture was good too.

I like macaron but due to the sweetness of it I have not been eating for a Long time but this macaron really amazing.

My 2nd Seoul Trip!

Yoohoo, I am back to blogging after 3 years. Time flies. Setting up this new blog because I want to start blogging about my trip. The previous blog was mostly for my complaining on work and the difficulty I had to face in life. I will try avoid complaining. 😂😂

I had planned this Seoul trip about a year ago, sound so kiasu right. LOL. Yes, I took a year to do it although is my 2nd time going to Korea. Firstly, book a cheapest flight on SQ at about S$750. This was my very first SQ. This made me sound so mountain turtle. I just love SQ due to their legs space in the flight. This is much cheaper than the flight that I have taken for my first trip. 

Next was booking Jeju Airticket via Jeju Air. This cost about S$200. Follow by booking Hotel and also cab driver @ Jeju. In case, you are interested to book a driver there, this is their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/jejunytaxitourteam/
They have a team and can speak English and also Chinese. 

I am back from Korea 2 weeks ago. The trip was good, minus those unfriendly people who don't say excuse me. I guess this is their culture. They are quite rough. I recalled being hit by a guy on my hand & he didn't even say sorry. I was in pain for that 2 mins, lucky there wasn't any bruises on my hand. 

13 Sept 12am
On flight - First flight on SQ. My mood. I don't feel quite excited, maybe because, I am worrying about work and something piss me off during work which I don't wish to mention. It took about 7 hours to travel from Singapore to Korea. Travelling with Joanne and her sister. This trip was full of excitement & made my jaws drop sometime. LOL.

Once we reached Seoul, went through the custom and proceed to B1 by taking the escalator & took the all stop train. I had do a lot of reading in blog thus I know where i should go. We took the all stop train to Gimpo airport as we need to catch our flight there. They are currently having some renovation work in the airport. The process @ their custom was a bit different. They required you to go back to their counter after 5 mins after they will be scanning your luggage to ensure there is no power bank in it.

After our Breakfast, we went to catch our flight. It took about one hour to reach Jeju. Once we touched down, we went to their taxi stand. Over there, there are 4 seaters and also big Limousine. We are travelling in 4 thus we need the big limousine. Ok, language barrier. but in the end settle with the driver an amount of 15000 KRW equivilant to S$17.00 as our hotel is near the Airport. 

Reached check inn hotel Jeju. I am quite satisfied on the hotel i booked as it was near the black pork street and at night I do not have to worry when I am hungry. The only things that i dislike about it is the toilet is slippery and i torn my short on the very first day. hahaha. Budget Friendly as well 4 Night, cost about S$350 for 4 person. I find it quite reasonable & you can get a free beer every night for your stay.

After resting for about 30 mins, We went out to have our black pork BBQ @ Hwaro Hyang BBQ.  we choose this because we can try the BBQ Abalone.

I am starting to miss the black pork and the sesame leaf/perilla leaf. Went to their Mac to try the chocolate pie and fries. I am not a fan of chocolate thus only took a bite. Nothing special. Near our hotel, there is a small amusement park but we didn't try any. We went to the seaside. The scenery was so beautiful. Little did we know that actually it was a sign of typhoon. The wind blow it and give a great effect on the cloud. We know it when we went to take our free beer in our hotel, the lady staff told us that there might me typhoon crossing over via Japan. End of day one because, we need to catch up with some sleep.
